In my time at SDSU I got the opportunity to participate in a practicum course that took me to Tijuana to make a project proposal that CETYS University and a local community could work on together. My proposal focused on establishing a seed library in the community that would, hopefully, spread. This experience taught me a lot about working within what is possible and how to engage with a community I was not familiar with before.
